Fine Food - and Friendly Atmosphere. Popped in here on a Friday evening when it obviously gets pretty busy, but service was fast and efficient - Food was Great and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent selection of beers too. Thoroughly recommended.

We ate here last month and chose a nice quiet Monday, where we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The member of staff that served us was lovely, very helpful. Our food came quickly and was absolutely beautiful. A lovely little pub. We have since been back again (this time on a busier Saturday) because their pizza is phenomenal and we couldn’t stay away. We have found our new go-to place. Thanks everyone

Friendly bar staff, popped in for a Butty Bach. Food looked nice that was coming out of the kitchen however we'd already eaten. Nice outside seating area. Clean and tidy. Partner was reminiscing as he used to drink in here as a young man!

Went with best mate and we both had the Beef Brisket with Veg. The brisket was very firm and to a degree dry, as we were both expecting it to fall to pieces, but sadly not. With a lot of chewing, finally finished it. Had a desert each which was much better We asked for the bill, which never came, so I went to the bar to request it. It did come, not no one then came to take payment. After 20 minutes we both went to the bar to pay. Not good service and other people may of just walked out without paying !!! Overall nice pub, just shame about the very chewy and dry Brisket.

We had a pizza and charcuterie board. The pizza could have been cooked a bit more underneath, but the toppings were tasty and plentiful, and the charcuterie was delicious. Good selection of ales, both local and more well known. Very dog friendly.

A lovely old pub run by the same family for four generations. The food was fantastic and arrived pretty quickly and the waitresses were really friendly and accommodating. The only small gripe was trying to pay at the end, it was so busy that it took twenty minutes from when the bill came to actually being able to pay up and leave. The staff were working really hard but there could have done with being a few more servers in to take the pressure off them a bit. Very busy and lively on a Saturday night so book if you'd like to eat.

Great pub lunch, visited as a group of 8. Staff soon found a table for us and a drinks order was taken fast. Nice pub menu with an Italian theme, some great dishes on there. Food was very good as was the local beer from the lucky 7 brewery. Staff very friendly and helpful, great service. Recommend and would visit again

Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff, food was delicious but the time we waited for our food was very long. I’m sure that isn’t always the case but it was unfortunate circumstances.
